Riverrun will be playing a set of original songs that pull from 26 years Ken and Adam have been making music together. What a pleasure it is having Douglass join Riverrun on bass this year, and with our special guest Bill Reeve on drums we have a fresh new sound for 2024. Acoustic folk-rock with a touch of jazz, blues, and rock and roll.

Joel Arnow is a drummer as well as a producer, engineer and mixer. Nick Truetwine is an editor for The New Yorker by day, and a superb tenor saxophonist by night. John Lang is a Jazz Bassist and composer. His most recent record “Earotica” (Released on the Cellar Live label) can be found on all major streaming sites.

Counterbalance is a Jazz-Fusion band from Westchester, New York that performs exciting original compositions, taking inspiration from both jazz fusion influences (Return to Forever, Weather Report, Hiromi Uehara) and rock/funk influences (Plini, Chon, Snarky Puppy). Our goal is to create engaging musical experiences by combining the best of the music we love, and share those experiences with our listeners.

New Yorkers from jam, punk, jazz, soul and samba bands joined forces in 2018 to form this psychedelic rock powerhouse. In May 2019 The Black Capsule released their eponymous album to critical acclaim and was compared to legendary acts such as the Velvet Underground, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd and The Doors by New York Music Daily. Steven Brent: echo.Location
This year, Steven will perform his first ever all-electronic set, presenting some works in progress from an ambient soundscape project called ‘echo.Location’. The first released recordings from this project can be found at ggdisney.bandcamp.com/album/echo-location-01

Pittson Family Band brings together three accomplished performers who are continually pushing the boundaries of their instrument. Vocalist Suzanne Pittson, widely recognized as a master improviser, has recorded music by John Coltrane and Freddie Hubbard. Jeff Pittson, a creative force on piano, keyboards, synthesizers, and as a composer, has performed with Mike Clark, Paul Jackson, Maynard Ferguson, Ruth Brown, Larry Coryell. Evan Pittson presents a modern direction for the viola.

Westchester Chamber Soloists & Friends returns for its 5th appearance at RiverArts Music Tour, with a diverse offering of chamber and other music.
