Jon’s annual RiverArts Music Tour organ recital is BACK!

Conductor and Organist Jon Riss, FAGO, ChM, was appointed as Director of Music at Irvington Presbyterian Church in November of 2016.

Mr. Riss received the 2013 American Guild of Organists Choir Master Prize for the highest overall score nationwide on the Guild’s day-long written and practical exam in choral conducting, and was awarded 2nd Prize in the 2009 American Choral Directors Association National Student Conducting Competition, Undergraduate Division.

The Hudson Line

A mix of rock, blues and country from the 60’s to now!

The Hudson Line plays your favorite rock, blues and country songs from the 60’s up to the present. We will play anything from the Stones to Hank Williams to Lord Huron. We might even play some “train songs”. Come check us out! You’re bound to hear something you’ll like.

Keith Torgan – songwriter, singer, guitarist, storyteller; Barbara Siesel – flautist, storyteller

Keith Torgan is a multi-disciplinary artist with over 20 years of experience in children’s music. As a singer, songwriter, guitarist, actor, author, teacher, storyteller, and visual artist, Keith has delighted audiences at theaters, cabarets, universities, museums, schools, and libraries across the United States and worldwide. He has composed scores for productions like The Tempest and Ring Round the Moon at the Williamstown Theater Festival. Keith’s solo cabaret performances have graced renowned New York venues such as The Knitting Factory, Don’t Tell Mama, and Green Room 42.

Barbara Siesel is an accomplished flutist, educator, producer, and entrepreneur. Her journey towards flute mastery has been a profound and spiritual one. As the co-founder of the award-winning organization Green Golly, Barbara is dedicated to introducing children to classical music through live interdisciplinary performances, curricula, books, sheet music, flutes, and meaningful education. Green Golly has established partnerships with esteemed institutions such as The Ravinia Festival and Midori and Friends.

Local band – 3 Irvingtonians and a Dobbs Ferryite have been playing together for years, playing rock, blues, folk, americana, and mostly having fun!

Mix of genres: classical, choral, instrumental, pop, solo vocals

Come hear the talented members of the IPC music family, comprising kids to senior citizen, amateurs to professionals, and repertoire ranging from classical to pop, as well as chamber and vocal music. All this in the inspirational confines of the stunning IPC sanctuary.
